Here’s where we share the initiatives we’re currently working on, as well as the projects we plan to pursue in the future. Our roadmap is ever-evolving—growing and adapting as new ideas emerge, more funding becomes available, and volunteers join our mission.

1. The Collection of Vape Device

One of our core goals at Vape Waste Solutions is to place collection bins in every vape shop we can across Wisconsin. These bins give customers a safe, accessible way to dispose of used vape devices, keeping harmful waste out of our streets, waterways, and wildlife habitats.

Once collected, our mission is to repurpose usable components, return recyclable materials back to manufacturers or proper facilities, and ensure any remaining waste is safely and responsibly disposed of. By building a statewide network of drop-off points, we’re making responsible vape waste management easy, effective, and impactful—for a cleaner, healthier Wisconsin.

2. Educating for a Cleaner Future

At Vape Waste Solutions, we believe that education is key to creating lasting change. By informing vape users, shop owners, community advocates, and local leaders about the environmental dangers of vape waste, we can shift behavior and inspire action.

Our outreach efforts focus on raising awareness through community engagement, informational materials at participating businesses, and digital content that highlights the importance of proper vape disposal. The more people understand the impact, the closer we get to a cleaner, healthier future for everyone.

3. Cleaning Up Our Communities

Beyond placing collection bins, Vape Waste Solutions is committed to actively removing vape products and other litter from our environment.

We organize and participate in clean-up efforts focused on roadsides, waterways, parks, and natural areas—places where vape waste and other trash are commonly found. Every discarded vape or piece of plastic we remove helps protect wildlife, prevent pollution, and restore the natural beauty of our communities. With the help of volunteers, we aim to expand these cleanups across Wisconsin and eventually beyond, one bag of trash at a time.
